In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Let us pray
O Jesus I Surrender myself to You, You take over. Amen
We make no apology for stating it is time to -
Stand up for Jesus.
As Mary forewarned Satan has made inroads into the Holy Church of God. We must therefore do as Mary requested pray, renew belief in, and, devotion to the Blessed Sacrament - the true presence - through Holy Mass, Adoration, Benediction, spending time before the Tabernacle and saying each day the Rosary. Uphold the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Today we pray The Sorrowful Mysteries
The Importance of Prayer
The times we are living through have been foretold both by Our Blessed Mother and in the Holy Word of God. For the second time this writer has decided to stop commenting on the issues of the day and concentrate on prayer. The situation has gone past anything I can do to change it and there is always the danger of scandal.
This column will concentrate on prayer including the Holy Rosary. We place our faith on God and His Son Jesus Christ and as He requested trust Him and hand our problems, our troubles, over to Him.
Join us in our journey.
O Jesus I surrender myself, my worries, my troubles over to you, as You have requested. Jesus I trust You, You take over
Community of Queen of Peace
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives (J 14: 27a).
“Comunita Regina della Pace” Association (Community of Queen of Peace) was created in 2008 as an initiative aiming at fostering peace and reconciliation among people and nations of the world, particularly in the places affected by armed conflicts.
Their mission is an international apostolate of Eucharistic adoration for peace and reconciliation among people. The initiative was brought about as a response to numerous calls of Our Lady and out of desire to fulfil spiritual legacy of the great Advocate of Peace St. John Paul II.
Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament opens to the gift of peace offered by Jesus. It is drawing from the only true Source of Peace. During adoration, the gift of God’s love flows from God’s Heart directly into a human heart.
They pursue their goal by means of the Work called “The 12 Stars in the Crown of Mary Queen of Peace” – an idea of establishing 12 International Centres of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for Peace.
The Work of “The 12 Stars” is accompanied by an initiative of forming the Chain of Prayer for Peace, whose links become all those who pray for peace and offer their adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament for this intention.
By drawing from the Living Fount – the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar – by enveloping the whole world with prayer for peace, we become its apostles in our homes, workplaces and environments.
True peace is a value conquered not by military, political or economic force but on your knees.

As we look for Your coming among us this day,
open our eyes to behold Your presence
and strengthen our hands to do Your will,
that the world may rejoice
and give You praise.
Blessed be God. Amen
TODAY is the 5 January
Other saints: St John Neumann (1811 - 1860)
He was born in Bohemia and studied for the priesthood. His bishop would not allow him to be ordained because the diocese had too many priests already, and eventually he went to the United States and was ordained in New York in 1836. He was consecrated Bishop of Philadephia in 1852 and died there in 1860.
By ourselves we are broken. With the Lord we are made whole. We pray for those who search that they will find the peace of Christ. God loved us so much that he gave His only begotten Son so that we can have life. By our example may we lead others to Christ.
WORD OF OUR LORD
John 1:43-51 You will see heaven laid open, and the Son of Man
After Jesus had decided to leave for Galilee, he met Philip and said, ‘Follow me.’ Philip came from the same town, Bethsaida, as Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael and said to him, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, the one about whom the prophets wrote: he is Jesus son of Joseph, from Nazareth.’ ‘From Nazareth?’ said Nathanael ‘Can anything good come from that place?’ ‘Come and see’ replied Philip. When Jesus saw Nathanael coming he said of him, ‘There is an Israelite who deserves the name, incapable of deceit.’ ‘How do you know me?’ said Nathanael. ‘Before Philip came to call you,’ said Jesus ‘I saw you under the fig tree.’ Nathanael answered, ‘Rabbi, you are the Son of God, you are the King of Israel.’ Jesus replied, ‘You believe that just because I said: I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.’ And then he added ‘I tell you most solemnly, you will see heaven laid open and, above the Son of Man, the angels of God ascending and descending.’
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Jesus loves everyone with a love far beyond human recognition. Tender, kind, consoling, and longing for us to acknowledge Him and return in our humble way our love for Him and our neighbour. All He asks is that we trust Him we surrender everything to Him. My Jesus we thank Thee.
St. Faustina Kowalska,
Suffering is a great grace; through suffering the soul becomes like the Savior; in suffering love becomes crystallized; the greater the suffering, the purer the love.” (#57, page 29)
The Word of The Lord - From the letter of John
1 John 3:11-21 - Our love is to be something real and active
This is the message
as you heard it from the beginning:
that we are to love one another;
not to be like Cain, who belonged to the Evil One
and cut his brother’s throat;
cut his brother’s throat simply for this reason,
that his own life was evil and his brother lived a good life.
You must not be surprised, brothers, when the world hates you;
we have passed out of death and into life,
and of this we can be sure
because we love our brothers.
If you refuse to love, you must remain dead;
to hate your brother is to be a murderer,
and murderers, as you know, do not have eternal life in them.
This has taught us love –
that he gave up his life for us;
and we, too, ought to give up our lives for our brothers.
If a man who was rich enough in this world’s goods
saw that one of his brothers was in need,
but closed his heart to him,
how could the love of God be living in him?
our love is not to be just words or mere talk,
but something real and active;
only by this can we be certain
that we are children of the truth
and be able to quieten our conscience in his presence,
whatever accusations it may raise against us,
because God is greater than our conscience and he knows everything.
My dear people,
if we cannot be condemned by our own conscience,
we need not be afraid in God’s presence.
May He show His face to you and have mercy.
May He turn His countenance to you and give you peace.
The Lord bless you!
Always remember - Jesus loves you.
Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in our hour of conflict. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.
Only in God is my soul at rest. In Him comes my salvation.
We finish as we begun
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
